Mukesh Ambani and Deepika Padukone share heartwarming hug at Manish Malhotra's Fashion show

Mukesh Ambani, daughter Isha Ambani and Deepika Padukone were some of the big names sitting in the front row at designer Manish Malhotra's fashion show in Mumbai on Thursday. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were the showstoppers of the evening, walking the ramp together in Manish Malhotra's new collection. A video from the event shows Deepika greeting Mukesh Ambani with a warm hug.

Paparazzi's Instagram account shared a video of Deepika going to greet businessman Mukesh Ambani. She was wearing a translucent white saree with a halter back blouse and her hair was tied in a topknot. She and Mukesh Ambani shared a long hug and had a small talk. Anju Bhavnani's mother-in-law Deepika was also spotted with them in a black outfit.

There is also a video of Ranveer greeting Mukesh Ambani and Isha Ambani in the middle of his ramp walk. Ranveer and Alia walked the ramp at Manish's The Bridal Couture Show. The designer has also created outfits for their upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The film's director Karan Johar, who is Manish's close friend, was also present at the event.

Deepika attended Manish's show on the same night as the first look of her film Project K was unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con. Deepika did not attend the event as she is a member of the Screen Actors Guild-SAG-AFTRA, which is now on strike.

The official project name of K Kalki 2898 AD was revealed at the event along with the trailer. A glimpse of Deepika Padukone as a soldier was also seen in the video. Prabhas and Kamal Haasan were present at the teaser release. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, who was seen with his face hidden behind a wrapped cloth. The film should hit theaters next year.

Deepika also has a fighter, Siddharth Anand. This is her second film with director The Pathan and her first opposite Hrithik Roshan. It will be released on January 25 next year.
